This year, we hope to have quite a large handful of artwork for you! In addition to an entire set of delightful chibis (I KNOW, RIGHT?!), we want to have more, beautiful portraits conjured. Heroes or Thieves
The second novel in The Kings series is currently free in ebook form on Amazon today and Monday! If you prefer the book in paperback or hardback, however, you can purchase it through our website. The series editor will be signing any books purchased through January 31st!
As you also know, we've been discussing the Heroes or Thieves audiobook for the last year. I hope to have further information on this project come mid-February.
Gods or Men
The draft is now 25% complete. I estimate that it will be 50% by mid-February and complete by the end of March. Then it will enter the revision, flavor, and editing phase! I'd love to have even more to say about this book, but you know my motto: the less you know, the better! I can say that everything is going REALLY REALLY well and the two PoVs I have finished are filled with danger, drama, and maginificent character development!
Conventions
Currently we are making plans to attend conventions in September, October, and November of this year. I want to apologize in advance for this, but any conventions prior to these months are highly unlikely. The reason for this is: I really want to focus on writing.
Gods or Men is very big. And complex. And hopefully even more fantastical, exciting, thrilling, and twisted than the last!
[Your average adult novel has a sweet spot of about 90,000 words. Your average fantasy novel tends for 100k-115k. Kings or Pawns was 150k. Heroes or Thieves was about 200k. Gods or Men is likely to hit 250,000. And I still want it to be out for you guys this year. (And if you're wondering, while we're at it: the fourth book looks like it will be about the size of Kings or Pawns or Heroes or Thieves.)]
