If you're like wait, who is Darcarus???--alas, you haven't met him yet. He comes into the series in book 2, Heroes or Thieves.
Darcarus' artwork comes with a bonus-- a shirtless version. Because, let's be real here: he may be an asshole, but he's a fine looking asshole.
Also, as promised, a spoiler series addition to this art reveal. This is a level 2 spoiler (meaning that it will not reveal anything "story changing"). While this is a very important event, and likely to be the one the series addresses next, it is not to the degree of, you know, like who lives and who dies. ;D
Still, as usual, I have provided the spoiler in an impossible to read color. You'll likely need to highlight the section. Unless you have the world's best eyes. In which case, on a side note, I'm super jealous.
Following the events in The Kings series, Darcarus has a big fallout with his family, resulting in his rebellion and curse by Sel'ari. Hence the dark hair in this rendition. He becomes a follower of Noctem and begins a new race of elves, known in the common tongue as the Dark Elves, but in the Elven tongue as the Noc'uvi.
I can't wait to show you how his journey continues! He has some of my favorite character development and favorite arc in the series!
