Weekend 1 of costume-making is officially complete!! I will be cosplaying as Eldaeus, my husband as General Jikun, and my editor as Captain Navon. And I have to say, we were REALLY successful this weekend! The clothing is mostly complete (aside from weathering), which means now I get to move onto leather working (wooooo!!)!
My husband designed and sewed his own pants! He's very crafty hehe. Here are Jikun's pants and shirt!
My editor sewed for the first time this weekend. Can you believe she'd never sewn anything before?? These are Navon's cloak and waist-piece.
And finally, here are Eldaeus' pants. I'm very happy with how his pants turned out, although eyelets are a bitch. I made a matching shirt, but you won't see the shirt beneath the scale mail. Which is good, because it kind of sucks.
Of course, the cats did their best to be helpful.
Aaaaaaand that wraps Weekend 1! I can't wait to start working with leather! (and figure out how much--if any-weathering we do to the clothing)
