Leather working is going FANTASTIC!! I am SO excited about how it looks! (dances*)
All of the leather pieces have been cut out, designs have been etched, and some of the pieces have been glued together. (The worst part was making the lines. I had to chisel them in there with a mallet and OMIGOSH it hurt my fingers so horribly.) Here's Jikun's armor!
Next I formed the leather to my casts. And holy shit do they look amazing. On the left is Navon's, on the right is Jikun's.
They have to dry on the casts for another day or two, and then after that I get to dye them!! Man, these pictures do not do them justice!
And here are my ever-present helpers (I covered up the scale mail with my bathrobe so that the cats don't mess it up, but now they all think it's a new bed. That CAN'T be comfortable. XD):
