Hey everyone! I've got a small update about the latest convention that we attended! On August 29, my editor, manager and I attended the Oldham County Comic Con, a one-day event in La Grange, Kentucky! Of course, cosplay was included. ;)

We boothed with Stuart Thaman, author of The Goblin Wars. He's a High Fantasy author like myself, so we joined forces to conquer. >:)
Aaaand there were some fellow sweet cosplayers at the event as well!
Okay, funny story. XD This is Lauren, who we play Magic the Gathering with weekly at a game store; we didn't know she'd be there!

But she's the second person I've randomly met at conventions who I play Magic with! I met Stuart at Fandom Fest, and... well... my husband and I hung out with him for TWO DAYS before we realized that we've been playing Magic at the same game shop for four years... orz. XD Small world, right...?

To finish off the day, we went out to dinner with Stuart and Lydia Sherrer, author of [something]. Company was fantastic! Food... not so much. XD (We went out to Applebees haha....)
