Due to the delay on the second novel (mentioned below), I was thinking we could make this time of waiting less painful by having a bit of fun along the way. Here are some things I was thinking:

+ A poll to vote for artwork completion for a devilishly handsome or lovely character (anyone even mentioned in the novel--here is where you can have us bring to life a character you're just dying to see in color!)
+ Character Interviews on topics of your choice-- ANY topic of your choice (magic, Darival, the history of the world, future characters, what they thought of last night's Bengals vs. Cardinals game, how they eat their breakfast, etc...!). You can see some past examples of kind of how these will be done in the Character Interview with General Jikun Taemrin and what it was like attending Imaginarium.
+ Pre-Released Chapters-- Now I can't release EVERYTHING before the release date, but we could throw you some of the early chapters to help tie you over ;D.

Heroes or Thieves

I have been working hard on refining the second book-- while it is currently in the hands of beta readers, I have been reading through to edit for those fantastic nuances that make Kings or Pawns' characters so delightful:

"Jikun had, on more than one occasion, imagined himself lurching over the side to an inescapable death and now found himself wondering if the archway and railing had been part of the original concept, or if they had been added later after some visiting merchant had met his doom. But of course, the Sel’vi would never admit to such a design mistake. Perhaps this was why a score of houses still spotted the canyon face below the palace where they would one day, inevitably, fall away beneath the erosion of the stone and send their poor, but foolish, inhabitants several leagues downward. During which they would hopefully have sufficient time to contemplate their poor life choices."

However, despite the immense progress underway, Heroes or Thieves release date is likely to be pushed back by 2-3 months. Reasons for this include the rather unexpected fact that I am moving and some (now resolved) complications in the story (thank you, as per usual, you shall-not-be-named bastard.) (Bet if you have read the first book, you totally know who I am talking about hahaha).
