The update for this week is: character art, book tour, Heroes or Thieves (book 2) release date update now June, and audiobook hardcopies.

Character Art-- your last chance to vote

Hey guys! So if you missed last week's update, here is an update to that update: this week is the final week to get your votes in for the next character art for the series. Alvena is currently in the lead with 24%, Navon following with 20%, and Saebellus in third with 16%. However, everyone else is very close--so get those votes in HERE!

(And yes, I know some of you are wondering why Jikun is not an option on that poll, but that's because he has 3 artworks done of him already XD)

Book Tour

(Book tour: basically a group of reviewers and bloggers host content about Kings or Pawns or post reviews on Amazon/Goodreads through the tour month. Interviews, Guest posts, reviews, etc... can be found on their blogs).

So currently Kings or Pawns is on tour with iRead Book Tours with a list of participants if you scroll down the page. ALSO a giveaway for 20 ebook/paperback copies of the book--so if you want to enter and grab one for a friend, this is a great way to do it!

Also, I have been considering running a second book tour in July or August for Kings or Pawns and/or Heroes or Thieves. If you are interested in participating you will be provided with a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. (one of the following formats if you don't currently have one: ebook (KoP and HoT), paperback (KoP and HoT), audiobook (KoP)). I will also be available for guest posts, interviews, or character interviews, so it's a great time to have some fun with me!

Heroes or Thieves Release Date Update

So Heroes or Thieves has an updated release date: June 2016. So yes, this does mean the book is getting pushed back a few months, but here is the time table breakdown so you guys can see why this is necessary:

Now-Jan. 31st: complete splicing of Jikun and Alvena sections. Make beta reader adjustments. Finish Sellemar ending changes.

February: Two rounds of edits for Heroes or Thieves- 40 pages a day (aka 16000 words). This is for polishing the book, nuances, humor, themes, and overall story.

March: Any additional chances to the book, polishing, etc... Mostly a buffer to the editing to make sure that it is nothing short of perfect when it goes to the editor.

April: Editing by the editor, submission to the Library of Congress, cover art layout completion.

May 1st: Submission for publication to ebook format, hardback, and paperback; proof review and confirmation a few weeks later, pre-release to all Kickstarter pre-release backers.

Sometime in June: Available to the public.
